Terms of service

These terms of service apply to any user of/groups using stutterbuddy.ch stutterbuddy.ch reserves the right to change these Terms of service (TOS) at any time. The most recent version at time of order or file-submission applies.

To use the services stutterbuddy.ch provides, you need to have a valid account, of which at most one per person or entity is allowed. Stutterbuddy.ch grants itself the right to revoke any membership whose owner infringed on these terms of use at any time.

Availability and quality of the service

Stutterbuddy.ch does not guarantee full or absolute availability of its services at all times. Furthermore, it does not guarantee a constant product quality. Video/audio conversion may fail at times and is greatly dependent on the type and format of the video, which is a risk the user has to take. Claims made upon failure of conversion or unsatisfying results are not acknowleged.

Content uploaded to StutterBuddy.ch

There are limitations the content (namely the files) that you can upload. The user is not allowed to upload/convert following content:

• Pornographic content
• Content depicting abuse/violence
• Copyrighted content of which the user does not have the permission to manipulate in any form
• Any kind of content, of which the possesion is illegal

StutterBuddy reserves the right to delete any kind of content and to refuse to convert it which meets the description stated above. In this case, there will be no refund of quota. If we see the need for it, we will take legal action. Stutterbuddy relies on an automatic system to flag this type of content and will review it manually if need be.

Refund policy

You are not elligible to a refund if

• a conversion failed because of the submission of an unsupported filetype or corrupted file
• you are not satisfied with the quality of the product (ex. how much was cut out, comprehensibility of the video, corruption of the file)
• the conversion took too much time (when a video is fully converted entierly depends on the current usage of the service)
• you uploaded content which does not meet our guidelines (see section above)
• you failed to retrieve a converted file in the expiration delay

Stutterbuddy also gives no guarantee that you are able to upload a file to our service or that the direct-link-download functionality works properly.

Subscriptions and Extra quota (also superquota)

A subscription will be activated automatically within a few minutes after purchase. If it is not, please contact support. Same is valid with extra quota. You can upgrade a subscription at anytime, but only cancel or downgrade after the subscription period has ended. If you do so during the subscription period, the changes are only active after the subscription period is over. You have a 14-day trial for your first paid subscription, if you are not satisfied, you are elligible to a full refund during this trial period.
